Welcome To My World (Week #2)

   

    Hello all and welcome to my blog. My name is Linze Barabas and I'm 27 years old. I am currently a student at Luzerne County Community College majoring in Business Management Technology. I recently got my GED and decided to attend college. Like they say, it is never late to go back to school. 

I was born in New York but moved to Florida at the age of three. After moving down south I was placed in the foster care system until I was about nine. When I was eleven I was adopted. All adoptions do not turn out so well so me and my adopted mother did not get along and ended up parting ways when I was twenty-four. 

    When I was younger I was always put down and told I couldn't be anyone in life or do anything I wanted to. I stuck myself in this shell because of that and was afraid to be my true self. I always kept quiet and stayed to myself at all times. 

    After the fall out with my adopted mother I moved to Pennsylvania in December of 2019 to better my life for and my child and also be closer to my biological family. I had my daughter in August of 2016 and her name is Sofia. 

    Everyone has a story to be told and I hope one day I can share mine to inspire and motivate those around me. 

    After moving to Pennsylvania and settling down, it will be three years this year, I have found my true self and loving it. It took breakdowns, tough battles, and moves to find out who I really am. There is nothing in life that I do not regret. 

    Some of the things I love to do include photography, cooking, traveling, and playing video game in my free time. People will tell you that I'm a hard working woman who is driven and determined to get things done. One of the things that motivates me to be successful is my daughter. With out her I wouldn't be where I am today. I have millions of goals but one of them are to help people come out of a negative situation and get into a more positive one. 

    My ability to empathize with people is what makes me me. I have been through it all! A lot of people have told me to be a counselor because of my ability to be an active listener and such a caring person who gives great advice. 

    I'm hoping this blog will inspire you and motivate you to become a better version of you. I will be sharing some of my life experiences, good and bad. As well of some of my hobbies and passions. Welcome to the world of Linze! Hope to see you soon...
